Large common room great atmosphere. Staff were okay. The only thing was the bathroom. They had one really nice bathroom in the kitchen and then the other one in the hallway had a dirty floor that always seemed to have water on the floor as well. But all in all it was okay

A friend and I stayed here as part of our interrailing trip through Central Europe. Really easy to get to - literally about 100 metres from the nearest metro station and that was only two stops from the train station so really well connected. Bit of a mix up at check in as we had originally booked beds in a six bed female dorm but we settled for a six bed mixed dorm. Overall, a good functional hostel - however, there was only one bowl in the kitchen which made it a bit annoying at breakfast time when everyone was having cereal. Good for what you pay, and they do provide bed linen and towels - but facilities could have been better.

The location was great, right near a trolley and underground station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were basic but I wasn't there to stay in the hostel. I was there to see Prague. Great value for the price.

Great place to stay. 24/7 reception isn't quite as true as says. Came back from night out and took around about 15 minutes to get back in as locked doors. Close to Main Street which is good, bit of a walk to the old town which is the best area there. Comfy beds and very clean rooms. Would definitely stay again, worth the price.

I've stayed in this hostel with friends for 3 days. The hostel is located at the Sokolska street, and very close to I.P. Pavlova metro station (15 minutes walk). The tram also has a stop close to the hostel. Wenceslass Square is 15 minutes walk from the hostel. You can find many restaurants, pubs, bars very close to the hotel. Also a KFC is in 5 minutes walk.

The hostel offers a free wifi. The beds are clean. The towels are included. You can use the kitchen for cooking.

The shower rooms are shared and they are not clean. The size is very small too.

The hostel claim the reception is 24 hours. However that's not true. There is a very big gate which separate the main road and the hostel entry.

We were out for a party during our stay and when we asked to the hostel staff (in the morning) they have confirmed reception works 24 * 7. However when we arrived around 01.30 AM, the gate was closed. There is a bell close to the gate and we were buzzing that for at least 1 hour and no one opened the door. We waited at least 3 hours banging the door and buzzing the bell in the cold night by cursing our fate on that night. Beware of this, in case you arrive late after your party/visit etc.

I will suggest this hostel only for a very short stay as the location/restaurants & eating out/ transportation/accessibility to the tourist locations can give an advantage to the traveler.

I've rated this hostel as average because it has good points and bad points..
To start with the good:
Free WiFi
Close proximity to Wenceslass Square (10 minute walk), Old Town (25 minute walk), local bars/restaurants and the metro line
Rooms were clean, bright and spacious (we had a private 4 bed on the top floor)
Clean linen and towels included
They easily arranged a transfer from the airport to the hostel and followed through when our flight was delayed by 2 hours

Now for the bad..
Have never received a colder welcome from a hostel/hotel in my life. When we arrived the staff looked bored and uninterested, they offered no help while we were struggling to work out how much each of us owed in a currency we weren't familiar with.. In fact the two men were clearly talking about us in a language we did not speak which made us feel very uncomfortable. We were then told how to get to our rooms (not shown) in a very unclear way that meant we were lost on the stairs for about half an hour before someone thought to help us. When we were checking out we were allowed to leave our bags behind reception until it was time to leave but when it came time to collect them reception was closed and locked (despite being open 24 hours) so we were late to leave and if we hadn't left enough time could have been in serious trouble to catch our flight. That being said, there was one helpful member of staff who was friendly and helped us to organise a metro/bus route to the airport though this did not make up for our other unfriendly experiences.

All in all the hostel has great facilities but the staff need to be friendlier, more facilitating and helpful to make customers feel more comfortable.

As soon as I saw it I loved my attic room. Nice, clean and quiet cause of the weekdays I stayed there. It was perfect for me cause I left early in the morning and came back to sleep late at night. Location is good, everything in walkable distance although hostel is next to I.P. Pavlova underground station.

Liked: Clean and quiet. They have covered parking place.

Disliked: They have a laundry washing machine but not a dryer. No information about how to use the electrical cooking machine.

The staff was pretty helpful and kind, we had booked 5 beds in a dorm, but when we arrived they told us that they had a better room for us because the dorm was already full, so we had a private room and the stay was perfect. Thanks!

Liked: The location is indeed awesome. It's 1 minute from a metro and tram station, so everything is easily available, yet, it is not loud at all like it would be in the very center.

Disliked: Bathrooms&toilets are somewhat not enough - in the morning may cause queues. Also they are ok, but definitely not extremely clean. The "hot" water in the shower was hardly warm.
